We have spent years in theatres, wards and outpatient clinics across Kenya, and we keep hearing the same thing: “Daktari, I didn’t want to ask, but…” This show is for everything that comes after the but.
What to expect
- Myth busting: from “piles come from sitting on hot stones” to “you can’t get pregnant on your period”.
- Demystifying the system: SHA, hospital bills, second opinions and how to actually talk to your doctor.
- The taboo stuff: sex, periods, poop, mental health, cosmetic surgery. If your aunties whisper about it, we’re saying it into a microphone.
- Experts on call: when it’s outside our lane, we bring in someone whose lane it is.
